Stepstone Films strives to develop works made specifically for film or television and to prepare them for commercial viability. Its success lies not only in giving life to new work but, more importantly, in involving its actors in both the creative and business aspects of the projects. By doing so, its actors maintain their creative muscle, create work for themselves, and learn the business of on-camera productions.

Critical to its success is its ability to identify potential commercial producers or venues, to establish business relationships with them, and to sell the work with the talent as part of the package.
